Screening Questions

Who can participate in this CKD study?

Adults 18 years and older who meet local legal requirements for giving consent may be eligible.

Do I need to have a confirmed diagnosis of CKD?

Yes. You must have two kidney function (eGFR) tests showing levels between 20 and 60, one from the past year and one at your screening visit.

Can both men and women join?

Yes, people of any sex can participate. Those who can become pregnant or father a child must use highly effective birth control during the study.

What kind of treatment must I already be on?

You should be on a stable dose of either an ACE inhibitor or an ARB (but not both) for at least 4 weeks before joining the study, with no planned changes.

Will I have to stop my current medications?

No. You can continue your current ACEi or ARB treatment throughout the study as long as the dose stays the same.

What do I need to do to get started?

You’ll need to sign a written consent form and complete a screening visit, which includes a blood test to confirm your kidney function.
