This atopic dermatitis study for adults who failed topical treatment enrolls people 18 and older with a confirmed eczema diagnosis of at least one year, rated moderate or severe by a doctor. Candidates should have significant itching and eczema covering multiple body areas despite topical treatment. If you have previously used a biologic such as dupilumab, or have HIV, active hepatitis, or a serious liver condition like cirrhosis, eligibility may be affected. Compensation available. Yes, if you are 18 years or older.
You may qualify if you’ve had AD for at least a year, have moderate to severe symptoms, visible eczema on 10% or more of your body, and at least a 4 out of 10 itch score.
You need a recent history (within the past 6 months) of not responding well to topical treatments or systemic medications, or you must have been advised not to use them due to side effects.
Yes, you must apply a moisturizer daily for at least 7 days before starting and continue using it during the study.
Yes. Both men and women must use effective birth control during the study and for a set period afterward. Women must test negative for pregnancy before starting.
You must be able to give informed consent, attend study visits, and complete a daily electronic diary tracking your symptoms.
Having HIV, active hepatitis B, or hepatitis C may affect eligibility. The clinical team will evaluate your medical history individually during the screening process.
Prior biologic use may affect eligibility. Clinical staff will review your treatment history during screening to determine if you qualify.
