This atopic dermatitis study for adults who failed topical treatment enrolls people 18 and older with a confirmed eczema diagnosis of at least one year, rated moderate or severe by a doctor. Candidates should have significant itching and eczema covering multiple body areas despite topical treatment. If you have previously used a biologic such as dupilumab, or have HIV, active hepatitis, or a serious liver condition like cirrhosis, eligibility may be affected. Compensation available. Screening Questions

Do you have any other skin conditions that could interfere with the eczema assessment?

Has your AD not improved enough with topical treatments, or are topical treatments not medically appropriate?

Please rate the severity of your itching on a scale of 1 to 10

Do you have HIV, active hepatitis B, or hepatitis C?

Have you had a diagnosis of atopic dermatitis (AD) for at least 1 year?

Are you at least 18 years old?

Using the “palm method,” how much of your body is affected by eczema? (One palm, including fingers, is about 1% of your body. Count how many palm-sized areas are affected.)

Has a doctor told you that your eczema is moderate or severe?

Have you used any biologic treatment for atopic dermatitis in the past? ( Dupilumab or similar medication )

Do you have cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis, or another serious liver condition?

Am I eligible based on age?

Yes, if you are 18 years or older.

How do I know if my eczema (AD) is severe enough?

You may qualify if you’ve had AD for at least a year, have moderate to severe symptoms, visible eczema on 10% or more of your body, and at least a 4 out of 10 itch score.

What treatments must I have tried before joining?

You need a recent history (within the past 6 months) of not responding well to topical treatments or systemic medications, or you must have been advised not to use them due to side effects.

Do I need to use moisturizer before and during the study?

Yes, you must apply a moisturizer daily for at least 7 days before starting and continue using it during the study.

Are there pregnancy or contraception requirements?

Yes. Both men and women must use effective birth control during the study and for a set period afterward. Women must test negative for pregnancy before starting.

What else is required from me?

You must be able to give informed consent, attend study visits, and complete a daily electronic diary tracking your symptoms.

Can I join if I have HIV or hepatitis?

Having HIV, active hepatitis B, or hepatitis C may affect eligibility. The clinical team will evaluate your medical history individually during the screening process.

Can I join if I've already tried a biologic like dupilumab?

Prior biologic use may affect eligibility. Clinical staff will review your treatment history during screening to determine if you qualify.

Is there a cost to participate?

No-cost expert care is provided throughout the study. Compensation is also available for eligible participants for your time and inconvenience.
